**** POWER OUTAGE WARNING***​​
Dear CAMPERS,
APS sent an important message due to critical fire weather. APS will implement a public safety power shut off, PSPS, beginning Saturday, June 27, at 9:00 a.m.
The outage is expected to last approximately 24 hours and will affect the South Rim, Desert View, and Canyon areas – this includes Tusayan.

CAMPGROUND WILL BE OPEN DURING THE OUTAGE IF AFFECTED. PLEASE EMAIL AND WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU AS SOON AS IT IS RESTORED. PHONE LINES WILL BE DOWN.

Our South Rim campground is open year-round.
the elevation here at the south rim is 7,200 feet winter temperature can fall well below 0 degrees.
We are located in Tusayan, Arizona, 1 mile south of the park entrance, on Highway 64 AND 6 MILES FROM THE GRAND CANYON.
The Imax Theater, the General Store, restaurants, and shopping venues are all within walking distance.
We offer RV sites with either 50 or 30 amp full hook ups, 30 amp water and electricity only. Tent and dry camping sites are available without hook ups.
